Before you light the stove.
The warnings printed on every can, in plain words.

Fitting the can
Check the seal
Look at the rubber seal where the can connects. If it's damaged, worn or missing, replace it before you fit a can.
Fresh air, no flames
Change cans outdoors or somewhere well ventilated, away from flames, sparks and anything else that could light it.
The right stove
Use it only with stoves made for direct-pressure butane cans that meet EN417 or EN521.
Arrow up, valve first
Keep the red arrow on the can facing up and slide the valve end in first.
Your stove's manual
Read and follow the instructions that came with your stove.
When you're done
Turn it off first
Close the stove valve fully before you take the can out or swap it.
Take it out gently
Remove the can carefully after use.
Keeping it
Out of the sun
Keep the can out of direct sunlight.
Never over 50°C
Don't let it get hotter than 50°C. A car parked in the sun gets hotter than that, so don't leave cans in it.
Cool, dry, airy
Store it somewhere cool, dry and well ventilated, away from heat.
Away from children
Keep cans out of reach of children.
Never
Never refill it
Camp Gas cans are made to be used once. Don't try to refill them.
Never pierce or burn it
Don't puncture, pierce or burn a can, or throw it on a fire, even when it's empty.
Throw it away properly
Dispose of empty cans safely, following local rules.
